Tlaloc was an important deity in Aztec religion; a god of rain, fertility and water. He was widely worshipped as a beneficent giver of life and sustenance, but he was also feared for being the lord of the powerful element of water. Legend has it that hikers would scale the mountains while being careful not to incur the wrath of Tlaloc.
 
Aztec Mythology is the collection of legends from the Nahuatl speaking groups of Central Mexico. Much of their folklore is reminiscent of other Mesoamerican cultures. Their archaic traditons have been carefully researched and honoured to create an evocative selection of talismans that give an insight into the Azteca tribal treasures.
